The two articles i found that were the most interesting to me are the Why rejection hurts so much and the How to get past negativity bias articles. For me, Feedback is more important to me because it lets me know that everyone always will have an opinion on something whether you like it or not. In the past I have gotten feedback on things i have done or the way i have acted towards someone or something and hearing that feedback I would let it dictate my mind because originally when i hear it i think "Nah that's impossible or nah, that can't be true. So and so does not know me" but as i grew older i came to the realization that people will always have opinions and feedback on something and it is something we have to accept. In the Why rejection hurts article, it talked about how the greatest damage rejection usually causes is self inflicted and that made me think about how accurate that statement is because when faced with rejection whether it would be rejection from a person you have been eyeing or rejection from a job that you wanted, you always start to question things about yourself which could lead to self confidence issues and much more. In the How to get past negativity bias article, I tried using the HEAL method that was mentioned in it and to my surprise it actually kind of worked. Although at the moment I am not witnessing or receiving negative feedback, I just decided to try it to see if it would have a positive impact on me and it did.
In the Week 3 articles, the article i found helpful was the How to give Feedback without sounding like a jerk article mainly because it reminded me of some people who would come across as a jerk when giving their feedback to things they either like or don't like. I myself also took a some tips that were mentioned in their into consideration so that in the future when a person wants me to give them the absolute truth about something I won't sound like i am being rude to the person.
